Hotel Porto Jofre
Hotel Porto Jofre, Pantanal, Brazil
A simple hotel compromising of 28 rooms all with air conditioning, television and minibar. There is also a swimming pool and restaurant serving regional cuisine. It is largely a hotel used by fisherman in the area but its location also makes it an excellent support base for the observation of jaguar between July and September. Small group excursions along the Cuiaba river in search of jaguar are operated by the hotel, and fishing trips can also be arranged.
