The Cambridge Suites is an excellent choice for longer stays, families or guests who prefer a little extra room.
OUR OPINION:
The suites at this property can be more likened to a luxury apartment than a hotel: each suite is extremely spacious and equipped with a kitchenette and windows that open. The location is perfect, at the foot of the Citadel and less than 10 minutes' walk to the waterfront. The deluxe continental breakfast is not to be missed, with an extensive variety of options and a different hot dish daily.

Rooms
The Cambridge Suites offers four suite options to choose from. All suites are spacious and feature a seating area with sofa bed and kitchenette. For the best views, upgrade to a Harbourview room. Rooms gradually increase in size from the Studio to the Junior with its separate living area, through to the one bedroom suites, which features a large dining area that doubles as a workspace. This can be upgraded to a Kitchen room which features a full size kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances including full-size refrigerator, dishwasher and range.
Location
Centrally located in downtown Halifax, this hotel is well located for exploring the urban culture and historical areas of the city. Citadel Hill is only a few steps away, as is the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia and the Halifax Public Gardens.
Food and drink
Canvas Resto Lounge is located just off the lobby and is open for the complimentary continental breakfast or hot breakfast for purchase. The restaurant is also open for dinner, offering a variety of dishes and a comfortable bar area with happy hour. There are also a variety of notable restaurants within easy reach of the hotel.
Facilities and activities
The Cambridge Suites offers a fitness studio with basic exercise equipment, sauna and whirlpool. Bi-weekly morning runs are also available to join. There is a business centre for printing documents or using the computer, as well as laundry facilities, secured parking, Wi-Fi and a rooftop patio.
