OUR OPINION:
This contemporary establishment is adjacent to Vancouver's Conference Centre and so may seem better suited to business travel. However its views and proximity to the city’s key areas make it a central and relaxing hotel.

Rooms
All rooms have king size beds or two double beds according to guests’ preferences. Floor to ceiling windows make the rooms feel expansive and bright, and all have good views of the waterfront, North Shore Mountains and Stanley Park. Premier rooms are situated on the corner of the building, with wrap-around windows, and overlook the Burrard Inlet and the North Shore Mountains. These rooms also have a small seating area. Suites’ features include Italian marble en suite bathrooms, walk-in closets and a living room with sofa bed and dining table.
Location
The Pan Pacific is located on Vancouver’s downtown waterfront. It is a short distance from the city’s main shopping street, Robson Street, and the entertainment districts. The Pacific Centre Mall, Gastown and Stanley Park are also a short walk away. It is particularly convenient for the cruise ship terminal.
Food and drink
Casual and formal dining is available. Café Pacifica on the ground floor serves breakfast as well as lunch and dinner. The Cascades Lounge overlooks the harbour and serves food all day, including tapas, with live jazz music at weekends. The Patio Terrace is an outdoor venue. The Five Sails is for fine dining only and also overlooks the harbour.
Facilities and activities
The hotel has an outdoor saltwater pool and hot tub, a spa and sauna, and a gym. An internet centre is also available for guest use, and there is a comprehensive concierge service.
