Chesterman Beach B&B in Tofino is located on one of the best beaches in the area. With a mix of suites and cottages, the property offers both privacy and comfort, providing a home-away-from-home.
The Red Crow Guesthouse & Cottage
Red Crow Guest House is nestled in extensive grounds of private old-growth rainforest, on the edge of a protected intertidal waterway and surrounded by untouched natural scenery. A paradise for wildlife lovers, many of the 150 or more wild bird species of Clayoquot Sound feed, bathe, breed and rest in the surrounding area, while river otters, raccoons and wolves are frequently spotted from the property. You may also be lucky enough to see a black bear in the vicinity. Your suite will be situated just steps from the waterfront, providing you with excellent wildlife-viewing opportunities. At night, the property's secluded location creates ideal conditions for star gazing in the thick, unpolluted darkness, and you can watch as the moon rises over Meares Island across the inlet.

Accommodation is comfortable, with the key attractions being the character of each room and the gorgeous views over Clayoquot Sound. The Black Bear Suite and River Otter Suite are in the main house, with each featuring a large double bed, a separate sitting and dining area, a kitchenette and an en suite bathroom. The large River Otter Suite also has a sofa bed to accommodate additional guests, as well as a fireplace. Both suites have their own veranda overlooking the water and boast modern amenities such as Wi-Fi and iPod docks.
There's also a two-bedroom Garden Cottage, set in the forest glade. One of the bedrooms has a larger double bed than the other, and up to six guests are able to stay here, although rooms can be booked separately. Both rooms have an en suite bathroom, and Wi-Fi is available. The cottage has a fully-equipped kitchen and dining area, a living room with a wood-burning fireplace and a deck overlooking the water complete with gas barbecue.
Situated on Vancouver Island's west coast, this a tranquil retreat set right on the waterfront of Clayoquot Sound, with the town of Tofino just 2 km (1.2 miles) away.

Facilities and Activities
Rowing boats, canoes and bicycles are available for guests to use, and after a busy day spent exploring the great outdoors, a massage is available if pre-arranged. There's also an outdoor hot tub, nestled amidst the ancient cedars, in which to relax. You may even be able to spot the bear that lives in the surrounding area and sometimes forages along the shore.
With its excellent hospitality, superb waterfront setting and tree-filled gardens, it's not hard to see why we think this is one of the best bed and breakfasts in the whole of Canada.
