Situated one and a half hours south of Santiago, close to San Fernando (northern end of the Colchagua Valley), this winery produces some of the best Carmenere in Chile. In 2005 it opened seven rooms in the original and preserved family home that dates back to the late 19th century.

Each room is individually decorated, and using traditional furnishings it has kept the 'antique' look, which is striking and unusual to see in Chile. It is very clean and beautifully furnished, with an impressive vineyard and surrounding grounds. Peaceful courtyards, swimming pool, fountains, as well as their own rodeo and polo field with stables housing up to 50 horses at any one time, mean that you can either relax or be as active as you like. Then, of course, there is always wine to be tasted.

There is a restaurant, which is located a 30 minutes' walk from the hotel (a five-minute taxi ride), as well as a smaller restaurant in the bar on site, which serves a full menu. To get to the polo club restaurant you can walk or ask the hotel to take you in their golf buggy.
