Located in the beautiful Turrialba Valley, Casa Turire is a charming colonial style hotel set in the grounds of a sugar cane, coffee and macadamia nut plantation adjacent to tranquil Lake Angostura.
A line of impressive royal palms flank the long driveway which stretches across manicured lawns to the Caribbean-style plantation house. Twelve deluxe rooms and four suites offer luxurious lodgings and all have balconies overlooking the grounds or swimming pool.
The master suite is a split-level one bedroom suite with a Jacuzzi and has a large balcony looking down the impressive driveway.
The gourmet restaurant serves up beautiful dishes which make use of the fine local produce, and the large internal courtyard has a quirky Art Deco appeal which only adds to the hotel's lovely, welcoming atmosphere.
