La Ermita is the sister property to Los Jazmines and offers comparable facilities and service.
Los Jazmines Hotel
Los Jazmines is the most established hotel in Vinales, and also the most eye-catching. The grand pink mansion is perched on the edge of the valley, offering magnificent views. It's a popular stopping off point for day trippers admiring the view, and one of the better hotels available in the valley, with lots of charm and character. Originally built in the 1960s before the government took over after the revolution, the original owner can still be seen wandering around and ensuring everything runs smoothly despite losing his investment.

The hotel’s rooms are on the small side and the décor is a little dated, but they're perfectly comfortable and offer good views from their balcony or terrace. They feature an en suite bathroom, air conditioning, a telephone and satellite TV.
The location of Los Jazmines, overlooking the picturesque Vinales Valley, is one of its best features. These sweeping views are particularly impressive in the early morning mists. The town itself is a 30 minute walk away, but taking a taxi is advisable – it's just a 5-10 minute drive and will save you the uphill walk on the way back!
Food and drink
Los Jazmines does have its own bar and restaurant, but the quality and the service can often be mixed - we feel you would be better off trying some of the great paladares (family-run restaurants) that can be found just a short taxi ride from the hotel.
Facilities and activities
One of the hotel's best features is its large swimming pool, which has wonderful views. Although locals can pay to use it, making it busy and noisy at weekends in particular, its elevated position still makes a great place for your free time. The hotel also has a small shop selling basic supplies.
Faded grandeur and a quirky appeal help to hide the dated rooms and average food at Los Jazmines. We like it for its fantastic location and great pool.
