A varied table d’hôte menu is offered which includes many vegetables freshly harvested from the kitchen gardens. Meals are generally eaten communally however if you would prefer to eat earlier, later or privately all you have to do is ask and the staff are very happy to accommodate any requests.

Tours of the tea estate and factory can also be arranged once you have arrived, as can excursions to Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Ghoom monastery. Where possible, we like to offer a range of accommodation for each stop of your trip, chosen by our specialists as some of their favourite places to stay. Experiences while staying here
The following activities are designed to give you the most authentic experiences of the area where you’re staying. We work with local guides, who use their knowledge and often a resident’s eye to show you the main sights and more out-of-the-way attractions. Our specialists can also suggest outdoor pursuits and activities, such as cooking classes, that will introduce you to the traditions of the area’s inhabitants.
The stunning scenery of the Himalayan foothills can be experienced by walking through some of the many tea plantations, where you can often see the tea-pickers hard at work delicately removing "two leaves and a bud" to create the best quality tea.
An early start is recommended for the visit to Tiger Hill, situated around 11km from Darjeeling. This scenic walk takes around two hours.
