The Ule Ethnic Resort is one of the oldest places to stay in Ladakh, approaching 40 years of service. Consisting of a small group of cottages surrounding a vegetable patch on the banks of the Indus, it is situated about a 15- to 20-minute drive west of Alchi itself.
The hotel itself is simple, with few facilities, however the service is eager and keen and nestled in the Indus Valley, it offers a comfortable place to stay with fantastic views of the Indus to be had.
