Chhatra Sagar is a hundred-year-old reservoir set in 1,400 acres of privately owned farmland, which has been worked by the same family for many generations.
Nearby to the reservoir there is a wonderful 7th century temple and an old Aodhi (hunting tower), which is now used for birdwatching. There is a variety of wildlife, in particular antelope and birds of prey and the brothers who own the land are extremely knowledgeable about all the bird and animal life in the area.
