Rooms

The resort has several different room categories, all with air conditioning and en suite bathrooms. The deluxe garden and ocean bungalows have a traditional Balinese design, while junior suites are contemporary in style and have views over the garden or the ocean from their private balcony or terrace. The deluxe ocean rooms are located in a two-floor building and each have a balcony where you can enjoy views over the gardens and a partial view of the sea.

Balancing traditional Balinese and modern styles, the spacious junior and luxury ocean view suites have floor-to-ceiling windows, as well as additional amenities such as a coffee machine and TV. The luxury ocean view suites have the additional luxury of an outdoor Jacuzzi tub. The luxury pool villas, set beside a coconut grove, have a small private garden and large outdoor pool. Guests staying in the suites and pool villas also have exclusive use of the à la carte Biru restaurant for breakfast.

Location

Candidasa, whose name comes from ‘Candi’ to mean temple, is a far more subdued affair than Bali's southern beach region. The area lies in the shadow of Mount Agung and is home to Besakih, the Mother Temple, as well as Taman Ujung Water Palace and Tirta Gangga, a beautiful Balinese water garden. You're also within easy reach of the rural fields of Sidemen, and close to the launch point for reaching the Gili Islands and Lombok.

Food and drink

The resort has three restaurants and two bars, one of which is a pool bar. The Ocean Terrace Restaurant serves international food in the evenings, whilst the Biru Restaurant serves Indonesian food. Basil Restaurant serves daytime poolside snacks, and Italian cuisine in the evenings. If you'd prefer to dine out in Candidasa, a number of the restaurants will offer courtesy transport to and from the hotel. The hotel also runs two daily complimentary shuttles to and from downtown Candidasa during the day.

Facilities and activities

During your stay at the resort, you can make use of two infinity pools, or the main pool that has a Jacuzzi and children's pool. The on-site dive shop can arrange diving and snorkelling activities, and the resort offers bicycles for rent to explore the area.
