Pavilions is located in the sleepy and slightly up-market area of Sanur, on the western shoreline of Bali. It is 20 minutes from the airport, and only a stone's throw away from a stunning lagoon that is fringed on one side by an extensive reef, and bordered on the other by a long, white sand beach.

The quiet charms of Sanur offer a peaceful respite from its bustling neighbours, Seminyak and Legian. The property is set back from the beach, and is accessed by a pretty driveway leading in to some wonderfully authentic Balinese architecture.

OUR OPINION:

Pavilions offers charming accommodation in a peaceful corner of Sanur. It is not located on the beach, but access to Sanur's golden sands is just a few minutes' walk away. This property is excellent value for money, and perfect for couples seeking privacy away from the hustle of beachfront properties.

Rooms

The property consists of 25 private residences situated in peaceful gardens, set back from the main street in Sanur. There is a private entrance, dining patio and sundeck area within each villa complex.

The Garden and Pool villas come with Hollywood twins or double beds, the Honeymoon Pool villa is available with a king size bed only, while the Two Bedroom Pool villa is available with one king size bed, plus Hollywood twins or two king size beds.

All villas have spacious air-conditioned living rooms, cable TV, DVD players, large bathtubs and separate showers, kitchens or kitchenettes.

Location

Set in a romantic tropical garden, along a stretch of white sandy beach, Pavilions is just a short walk to the seaside town of Sanur. In Sanur there is a bustling local market, access to white sand beaches, restaurants, galleries and the stunning Patal temple. The hotel is easily accessible at just a 30-minute car ride from the International Airport and a 45-minute drive from Ubud.

Food and drink

There is a small restaurant at the hotel, but you are only a short walk from many of the restaurants in Sanur. Breakfast is served in your villa.

Facilities and activities

The hotel is built around relaxation with a large pool at the centre of the garden surrounded by deckchairs and umbrellas. There are open air yoga sessions to rebalance and start the day right and a luxurious spa to enjoy a traditional massage or natural facial.
