Mamilla Hotel

Jerusalem, Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories

A luxurious base from which to explore Jerusalem’s historic sites, the Mamilla Hotel is within easy distance of the Old City walls, the Tower of David, Jaffa Gate, Mahane Yehuda Market, and the open-air shopping and entertainment district known as Alrov Mamilla Avenue. The building offers contemporary design throughout, especially in the public spaces which include high ceilings, marble flooring, oversized seating, and black and white photographs of the city in the early 20th-century. This theme extends to the 194 modern and minimalist rooms and suites, all of which have light Jerusalem stone, floor-to-ceiling windows, bespoke lamps, curated artworks, and beds with throws in muted tones. Modern amenities include flat-screen TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi, and Nespresso machines. Bathrooms with freestanding bathtubs and double vanities are separated from the sleeping areas by glass panels that can be switched to an opaque setting for added privacy.

Elsewhere, there’s an impressive array of facilities, including an atmospheric indoor swimming pool with mosaic tiling and underwater music, a rooftop sun terrace with loungers, a gym with state-of-the-art training equipment, and an award-winning spa with Turkish hammam rooms and private rooms for treatments and therapies.

OUR OPINION:

We love this luxurious hotel in the heart of Jerusalem for its contemporary design, excellent service, and ideal location for accessing the Old City.
