Itinerary idea in detail

With international flights from a choice of airports including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Venice. Upon arrival in Venice, you will travel by private water taxi across the lagoon, enjoying some wonderful views of this magical city as you head to your hotel, which overlooks the Grand Canal. After, you have a chance to freshen up and enjoy a breathtaking private panoramic boat tour around the rest of the city.

  • This morning, your guide will meet you at your hotel and walk you to St. Mark's Square for a private half-day tour. On this tour, you will also visit secret rooms within Doge's Palace that are not normally open to the public. In the afternoon you will have some free time to explore more of the city and may wish to visit sites such as the Peggy Guggenheim Collection or the Accademia Gallery.

  • Today you will have a private boat tour of the islands of Murano and Burano. In Murano you will see a glassblowing demonstration at a local glass factory. The next island, Burano, is famous for its brightly painted houses and traditional lace making. At the end of the tour your private boat will drop you back off at your hotel.

  • You will be transferred to the station today by private water taxi for your train to Verona. The train journey will take just over an hour and a driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel on arrival. After settling in, enjoy a private walking tour of the most important sites within the city's medieval heart.

  • Today you will have the morning to do some final exploring in Verona before departing with your private driver to Lake Como. The three-hour journey will skirt the edge of the lake capturing beautiful views before you reach your grand lakeshore accommodation, looking across the water to Bellagio.

  • Today you will have a five-hour private guided boat tour of Lake Como, including the Villa Balbianello featured in the James Bond film 'Casino Royale', as well as the town of Como and its historic heart. After the tour, the boat will drop you off back at your hotel.

  • Today you will have a full day at leisure to explore more of the lake's highlights. A great option is to take the public ferry north to the charming towns of Varenna and Menaggio. You may also like to visit the house and gardens of Villa Carlotta, just next door to your hotel.

  • Departing today with your private driver, you'll head to your hotel in the heart of Milan. The journey will take around an hour. After settling in you will have some free time to begin exploring the city or perhaps do some shopping.

  • This morning you will depart with your private guide for a walking tour around the city, including a visit to see Leonardo da Vinci's iconic 'Last Supper'. At the end of the tour, you'll have some more free time to explore this vibrant city. We highly recommend taking the elevator to the top of the Duomo as the rooftop terraces offer spectacular views.

  • This morning you'll be taken to the station for your premium class rail journey to Florence, which will take around an hour and a half. On arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel to settle in before having some free time to explore. You may wish to head to the Piazza del Duomo, where you can climb both the cupola and the bell tower for some wonderful views of the city, or simply relax in one of the charming cafés or restaurants.

  • Your private guide will meet you this morning at your hotel and walk you to the Uffizi Gallery for a tour of the famous collections. The afternoon is free to continue exploring at your leisure. You may want to take a lunchtime stroll along the banks of the Arno or while away the afternoon in the fascinating Bargello Gallery.

  • This morning, your guide will meet you at your hotel for your private guided visit to the Accademia Gallery to see Michelangelo's 'David'. Following the Accademia, you'll carry on to the Pitti Palace with your guide. At the end of your tour, you may want to linger on this side of the river and visit the beautiful Boboli Gardens or head to one of the cafés on the riverfront.

  • Departing from Florence this morning you'll travel into the heart of Tuscany with your private driver to the stunning Il Falconiere estate, just outside of Cortona. You can then spend the rest of the day enjoying the beautiful surroundings of vineyards and olive groves or relax at the hotel's excellent spa.

  • Enjoy a wine-tasting tour of Tuscany today. Departing with your private driver, you'll start at the famous Felsina Winery where you'll have a jeep tour around the vineyards and an opportunity to sample some of the wines accompanied by a lunch of traditional Tuscan dishes. Next, you'll head to the spectacular Borgo San Felice. Here you'll be able to learn about their innovative “San Felice method” as well as their role in producing some of the first Super Tuscan wines.

  • Your driver will take you to the train station in Florence for your premium class train journey to Rome, which will take around two hours. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. After settling in, you'll have the opportunity to get your bearings in Rome with a privately guided tour of the city by car and on foot. This evening tour includes key sites such as the Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Navona and the Trevi Fountain.

  • Today you'll learn about the history of Ancient Rome on a privately guided tour of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. The afternoon is then yours to spend at leisure exploring the Eternal City. You may wish to head back to the Piazza Navona or Camp de Fiori where you can sit and watch the world go by.

  • Today, you'll learn about the incredible artwork held within the world's smallest city-state on a private tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. Following the tour, you'll have the rest of the day to explore Rome at leisure. If you haven't already done so, we recommend visiting the charming lanes of Trastevere to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy some dinner.

  • This morning you will be dropped at Rome station for your premium class train journey to Naples, which will take just over an hour. On arrival a car and private driver will take you the rest of the way to your hotel in Positano. During the drive relax and enjoy the stunning views. In the afternoon, you'll have some free time to start exploring this exquisite stretch of coastline.

  • Spend today exploring the island of Capri in style with a private boat and guide. After the spectacular one-hour journey to Capri, you'll enjoy a private guided tour and some time at leisure on the island. This evening your boat will deliver you back to Positano to relax.

  • Today you will visit one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world, the entombed city of Pompeii. After arriving via private driver, a guide will meet you at the site for a private tour around the fascinating ruins.

  • Say goodbye to Positano today as you depart by private car for Naples and your flight home. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
