Located in the heart of Florence, next to the world-renowned Uffizi Gallery, Hotel Degli Orafi makes a good base from which to explore this historic city. Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio and the Pitti Palace, as well as numerous well-respected Florentine restaurants, can all be reached on foot.

While the interior is rather modest, the rooms are bright and spacious and there's with a lovely vaulted breakfast room with a frescoed ceiling as well as a large roof terrace with an American bar and unsurpassed views of the Duomo and the river Arno. This bar is a great place to enjoy a refreshing drink and watch the sun set over the beautiful, red roofs of Florence.

Rooms

All rooms and suites are modestly furnished in neutral hues with accents of traditional Italian design. Simple but comfortable, the rooms provide all the amenities necessary for a pleasant stay in the city. Each is equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, Wi-Fi and stylish marble bathrooms with either a shower or bathtub depending on preference. For those looking for something extra special the Room with a View is the hotel’s most romantic option and boasts a large, private terrace overlooking the Arno and Ponte Vecchio.

Conveniently situated in the heart of Florence, the Hotel Degli Orafi makes an excellent base for exploring the city on foot. The hotel is located next door to the famous Uffizi Gallery and less than a five-minute walk to Ponte Vecchio. Views of the historic Duomo, bustling streets of Florence and the banks of the Arno can all by enjoyed from this central hotel.

Food and drink

A generous buffet breakfast featuring freshly baked goods is served daily in the opulent breakfast room that once served as a grand ballroom. This lavish room has a vaulted ceiling decorated with original, 19th-century frescoes and sparkling chandeliers. While there is no restaurant for dinner, the hotel is located in the heart of Florence and numerous dining options are only a moment away.

Accessibility

The hotel is equipped with an elevator, which guests can use to access the breakfast area. The hotel also contains two accessible rooms that were specifically designed for guests with limited mobility.
