The Dogo Spa resort is one of the oldest and most celebrated of Japan's many hot spring areas, and your hotel will allow you to experience the relaxing bathing experience in true local style.
The accommodation itself is housed in a more modern building and known as a ryokan hotel, meaning that it retains elements of traditional Japanese accommodation, such as kaiseki dining, traditional breakfasts and futon style sleeping arrangements, but also has many Western amenities.
The hotel is large and welcoming and the various hot spring baths will soak away the day's travelling. There is also a fascinating taiko drum show in the lobby on most evenings.
