The Danna

The Danna is located on the beautiful white sand bay of Pantai Kok next to Langkawi's Telaga Harbour Marina which is home to a wealth of yachts from around the world. The 125 colonial styled rooms boast views of the courtyard, sea, marina or surrounding hills and all have their own private balcony. Each room has timber flooring, colonial artwork, handcrafted woodwork and furnishing as well as a four-poster bed for those in a double rather than twin.

The main difference in the room types is the view: Merchant rooms look onto the hills or courtyard; Viceroy rooms look onto the marina or sea and are strongly recommended for the relatively small upgrade cost. All of the 'Grand' rooms have an extra ten square metres, however, the lead-in room size is 60 square metres so this is not overly critical in our opinion. The individual suites are all unique though our favourite is the Duchess suite with its own private plunge pool and sea view. Each room has flat-screen TV, DVD player, complimentary internet, minibar, safe, separate rainforest shower and bathtub.
