Dar Zemora, Marrakesh, Morocco
This wonderful retreat is located around 15 minutes outside of Marrakesh, in the Palmeraie region of the city. A discreet country house-style hotel, it is decorated with typical Moroccan character and some chic contemporary features, all lovingly conceived by the English owners, Paul & Lindsay Kentish. Each room and suite in the house is individually designed and unique, so that the final effect works perfectly. There are three comfortable rooms and two extremely spacious, stylish suites in the main house, which also boasts an enticing library, dining room and living room with open fire.
The pavilion is a separate building with two large en suite bedrooms and a private pool. All offer wonderful views of the verdant garden, where you can have a leisurely lunch and take a dip in the pool or visit the bird terrace. One more building houses a hammam and massage rooms, all of which makes Dar Zemora an ideal place to relax at the beginning or end of your journey.
