Situated within the walls of the medina at the bottom of the hill, Palais Amani is a large riad with beautiful mosaic work and lots of outdoor open spaces. It has a lovely first floor patio in the sun where a traditional Moroccan breakfast is taken, and the rooftop terrace has a fantastic 360 degree view of the medina and surrounding countryside. There is also a stylish bar that is perfect for pre- or post-dinner drinks.
This riad is a real mix of the traditional and modern, with its original room sizes and layout maintained, and chic, contemporary touches added to complement the usual riad staples. All of the 14 rooms are elegantly furnished and spacious, with a shower or a bath depending on your taste. The restaurant is excellent, serving a fusion of tasty French and Moroccan dishes with imaginative presentation.
