Cornerstone Guesthouse is within a stone’s throw of the Atlantic Ocean and just a short walk to the Tug Seafood Restaurant and the Jetty — two of the best places to eat in town. It’s also within easy walking distance to the centre of Swakopmund.
The charming guesthouse offers an intimate, high personalised stay in a quiet area, set in pleasant gardens and offering clean and comfortable accommodation. Family-run, the property delivers a friendly service and makes a great little option as you explore Namibia's Skeleton Coast.

Rooms
There are just seven tastefully decorated rooms, each with a private entrance and patio with table and chairs. Inside, the rooms are light, spacious and clean, with tile and wood floors. Décor is muted blues and creams, with your choice of double or twin beds. All rooms have en suite bathrooms with large solar-assisted showers and modern fittings. Two of the rooms can be converted into a family unit sleeping four. Amenities in each room include a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee making facilities, a mini fridge, safe and Wi-Fi access.
Location
Cornerstone occupies a quiet corner of the old town, near the marine museum and the old brewery on the corner of Rhode Allee and Hendrik Witbooi. The facilities, shopping, bars and restaurants of Swakopmund's centre are within easy walking distance.
Food and drink
The breakfast room at the guesthouse is large, light and airy. You can sit on the veranda on warm days or inside at individual tables. Breakfasts are tasty with a choice of fresh fruit, juices, yoghurts, breads, and eggs and bacon cooked to order. For lunch and dinner you can wander into town and try out the various restaurants found in Swakopmund.

There are two rooms that can accommodate families of four.

Your hosts can book activities and make dining reservations for you, and will provide a same-day laundry service. Secure off-street parking is also available for guests who are self-driving. There's a lounge with satellite TV, while the gardens are a peaceful place to relax.
