Beautifully located in the Soberania National Park in the midst of the rainforest, this 200 bedroom resort overlooks the Chagres River which flows into Lago Gatún. Rooms are spacious and comfortably decorated with en suite facilities and air-conditioning.
Due to its size the hotel can be noisy and occasionally full of groups but the resort has a wide range of facilities and offers a multitude of activities such as fishing, kayaking, trekking, boat rides, golf, cycling, tennis and swimming. An aerial tram also proves ideal for observing the upper rainforest canopy and spotting some of the abundant species of birds present in the surrounding area.
Capybara also gather by the river in the early evening and toucans in the early morning. There is a well-equipped fitness centre and spa and a selection of restaurants and small bars that are ideal for relaxation after a day of activities.
