Birding Tour

A very early start is required to visit the famous Pipeline Road. This is considered to be one of the best birding spots in the world with 300 species of birds recorded in one single day by the Audubon Society. Located in the Panama Canal watershed, this former US military road will take you in to the secondary forest.

The trip will begin with a preparatory talk about the geography and animal life of the Panama Canal as you are taken to the National Park. During the tour you will have the opportunity to see a wide range of diverse plantlife and tree species. Howler monkeys, anteaters and agoutis also inhabit this area.
