Located among beautiful hills and alongside the Mahaweli, Sri Lanka's largest river, the Mahaweli Reach is one of the most comfortable hotels in the town.
The grand entrance leads through to a superb free-form pool which is overlooked by many of the rooms. There are two wings, each with five floors as well as a further block of rooms overlooking the river. The restaurant offers extensive buffet and à la carte menus and the bar by the pool serves snacks from lunchtime onward.
The range of facilities combined with friendly staff are a credit to the tradition of Kandyan hospitality.
