Warwick Gardens

Situated in acres of tea and jungle, and approached via a very narrow and rough tea estate road, Warwick Gardens is a sympathetically and tastefully converted planter's home originally built in the 1880s. Its situation is isolated, yet well located for trips to Nuwara Eliya and Horton Plains. Equally, it is an ideal spot to laze on the veranda, enjoy a delicious meal made with fresh vegetables from the garden, explore the local area on foot, or take a trip to one of the local villages to experience Tamil life. The small but elegant sitting room boasts a baby grand piano and a sparkling chandelier lights the communal table in the dining room. Your dining preferences can be discussed with the house manager and the set meals are simple but freshly prepared.

The five rooms are all tastefully decorated and finished to a high standard, retain many original features and fittings including working fireplaces, and are furnished with period pieces. The en suites have rain showers and those attached to the suites also have a freestanding roll-top bath.
