Rooms
Rooms all boast antique furniture and modern amenities, with each one decorated in its own style. Classic rooms are smaller in size, while Deluxe rooms are much bigger and situated toward the front of the hotel. The spacious Premium rooms offer a separate living area and are also found at the front of the hotel. Air conditioning, TVs and en suite bathrooms are included in each room.
Location
Conveniently located in downtown Durango, just two blocks north of the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Station on Main Street, this hotel provides the perfect base for seeing the area's main sights and attractions. It's also easy to take a trip on the famous Durango Railroad. Close to the Mesa Verde National Park, there's a plethora of activities available in the region.
Food and drink
Breakfast can be included and is taken at the Mahogany Grille, which offers a hot buffet and continental options. The restaurant is also open for dinner, serving delicious American fare using fresh ingredients. The Diamond Belle Saloon offers a full food and drink menu throughout the day, as well as offering entertainment such as live music and Wild West gunfight reenactments. Meanwhile, The Office Spiritorium bar has a Victorian style, serving a variety of beverages and hosting live music performances each day.
Families
Some Deluxe and Premium rooms offer two queen size beds which can accommodate up to four guests. There are also a limited number of interconnecting rooms for families of up to six.
Facilities and activities
In addition to the live evening entertainment offered in the hotel's bar and restaurant, guests can visit the Henry Strater Theatre, which has been running for over 50 years and offers a variety of entertainment, from live music to stand-up comedy and theatre productions.
