The historic 1891 estate is the centrepiece of 15 acres of mature gardens, woodlands, fields of wildflowers and a tranquil pond. The 9,000 square foot mansion is grand and architecturally significant and also offers spa services, a cocktail lounge and bar, and a lakeside veranda.
The inn is also renowned for its award-winning dining, having been described as one of the 'top five' restaurants in Maine.

Rooms
Rooms at Blair Hill Inn have some of the best views of the surrounding scenery, and each has its own relaxed and timeless style. With soft colour palettes and lots of light from large windows, paired with classic and contemporary decor, the rooms are incredibly homely, but feel luxurious.
Each room has a king or queen bed and many have a wood burning fireplace as well as comfy sitting areas and a bouquet of fresh flowers upon arrival. A complimentary area visitor's guide is also in each room.
Location
Blair Hill Inn is located in the town of Greenville on the southern end of Moosehead Lake, Maine's largest glacier lake. Its clifftop position affords expansive, panoramic views over the lake, and guests can admire the views from the hotel or from one of the many scenic overlooks around the estate.
The inn is surrounded by over 70 acres of private hiking trails, fields and woodland, complete with a trout pond and many spots for a quiet picnic.
Food and drink
A complimentary breakfast is served daily from 8am until 9am in the porch. Hot beverages are ready before then, but a full, hot breakfast can be expected later on. Sample breakfast items include fruit smoothies, poached pears with mascarpone, spicy Maine crab cake eggs Benedict, French toast with bananas and coconut and garden frittata.
Local, hand-churned butter and organic eggs are delivered every couple of days and produce from the gardens is picked each morning to ensure the freshest ingredients are used.
Dinner is served in the restaurant and is available as a Chef's Choice four-course dinner on Tuesday and Wednesday for guests only. At the weekend, there is a six-course tasting menu which is open to the public.
Facilities and activities
Home not only to acres of land for outdoor adventures, Blair Hill Inn's spa is one you won't forget. Set amid vast woodland, there is an outdoor deck, hot tub and traditional sauna alongside the treatment rooms. All-natural products are used for each treatment, many of which are made in-house.
From a Moose Safari to a guided fishing trip, Blair Hill Inn can arrange spectacular day trips for your stay. Private hiking is available as well as beach towels and chairs for lakeside activities.
