Woodstocker Inn, Woodstock, New England
You can be sure of a warm and friendly welcome upon arrival at the award-winning Woodstocker Inn. Run by fun and interesting British expats, David and Dora, the Woodstocker Inn is located within a few minutes' walk of the sights, shops and restaurants of the pretty village of Woodstock, yet is just a couple of minutes' walk from the outdoor spaces of Rockefeller National Historical Park.
This eco-friendly adult-only inn offers nine simple guest rooms, each with a spacious modern bathroom, and most decorated with vibrant colours. Downstairs there is a spacious guest sitting room with wood-burning stove and, at the rear of a well stocked eclectic library, a 24 hour refreshment station for guests to help themselves to (you can even get a proper cup of tea here made with boiling water!) Guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol and during the summer months there is a delightful garden to relax in. An a la carte breakfast is served each morning to ensure your day of exploring Vermont gets off to a good start.
