The Boutique Hoi An Resort is set off the road with a sweeping drive leading up to the front door of this white, colonial style hotel. The neutrally decorated rooms are all spread out over a large area, from the main building itself all the way to detached beach villas looking out onto the sand and will provide a comfortable stay for all manner of travellers, from honeymooners to families.

There is a large swimming pool framed by reclining chairs to relax on within a beautifully maintained tropical garden leading onto An Bang Beach.

OUR OPINION:

A lovely beach option and an Audley favourite. The rooms are bright and clean with fantastic bathrooms. What the hotel lacks in personalised touches it makes up for with impeccable service and access to An Bang Beach.

Rooms

The hotel offers four room choices which are all similar in terms of the sleek, neutral finish and large beds, but differ in size and location. The Superior rooms are located within the main hotel building itself whereas the Deluxe rooms are situated further into the garden in groups of four. The Boutique Deluxe rooms are closer to the beach still. These are larger and have a ground floor terrace area. The Beach Villas are on the beach and have two bedrooms and a large living area. All are very comfortable and have some element of outside space, be it a balcony or terrace area.

Location

This hotel is located on the beach, making it perfect for a relaxing break mid-way through a trip in Vietnam. The hotel provides a regular shuttle bus back and forth to the town itself to explore further, which is particularly handy as the location does not lend itself to an abundance of eating options.

Food and drink

There is one main dining room where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served for the hotel guests and two bar options in the lobby and by the pool. The breakfast is a full buffet, and lunch and dinner both have à la carte options as well as buffet. Although the food is good, we would recommend venturing into town for dinner for a little more atmosphere and charm.

Families

With large room options and expansive outside area for children to play, this hotel is a good option for a family stay, though not specifically geared toward children. The hotel also has babysitting facilities if parents want to enjoy the spa or a dinner in town.

Honeymooners

The Boutique Hoi An provides its guests with impeccable service, beautiful views straight onto the beach and the option to take a full private beach villa for ultimate seclusion. They also offer private honeymoon dinners in a special spot in the garden.

Facilities and activities

The hotel is fully equipped. The spa offers all manner of treatments and there is a steam room and a gym overlooking the pool.

Accessibility

Access is not great for wheelchair users as there are many steps throughout the grounds of the hotel.
