Chen Sea Resort & Spa is located on the picturesque sandy beach of Ong Lang and comprises 24 sea view bungalows and 12 villas, some with their own Jacuzzi or pool. The rooms are contemporary in design and equipped with a range of modern amenities, including air-conditioning, a TV with DVD player and free Wi-Fi. They also have scenic views of the beach from private, furnished terraces. Guests can dine at the resort's restaurant, which serves both Vietnamese and Western dishes. Though further away from town than other hotels on Phu Quoc, it is easy to arrange a taxi should you wish to try out some of the local restaurants.
The resort boasts a host of facilities and activities, including a high-quality spa offering a range of treatments and massages, a large infinity swimming pool overlooking the beach, a tennis court, bicycle hire, cooking classes and a range of water sports. A PADI diving centre is also located nearby for scuba diving and snorkelling trips.
There is a large private beach with no other properties close by, so it is very secluded and serene — the perfect place for some rest and relaxation at the end of your trip.
OUR OPINION:
Located a 20-minute drive north of the island's main town, Duong Dong, this resort is set on an idyllic, unspoiled stretch of beach, making it a peaceful and remote retreat for a few days of relaxation. We do not recommend the Pool Villas for families with young children due to the design of the balcony balustrades.
