Short city tour of Kon Tum

The Wooden Church, Kon Tum

On your tour of the town you will visit the impressive 'Wooden Church' originally built by the French missionaries in 1913 and lovingly restored in the 1990s.

You will also have the opportunity to explore the Kon Tum Rong house and visit the Vinh Son Orphanage located directly behind the church. Staff here are very welcoming to visitors who would like to spend some time with the resident children and they appreciate any form of gift or donation that you could make.

You will also visit the Catholic Seminary School and its adjoining Minorities Museum that provides a history of Christianity and conversion in the region and some great examples of local culture.
