Includes international flights from a choice of UK airports, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Lusaka.

  • On arrival in Lusaka, you will be met and assisted with your bags. You will be shown through to the Proflight departure lounge where you will check in for your flight to the South Luangwa. On arrival, you will be met by a guide who will drive you out of Mfuwe town and to your camp.

  • A day of game-viewing activities from the lodge. This often includes a walk in the morning and a late afternoon drive, where sundowners are followed by a night expedition searching for leopards and other nocturnal wildlife.

  • Full-day excursions to more remote areas of the national park are also possible from your camp, taking a packed lunch to enjoy at midday. You might want to go and look at the huge stork colony in the park's northern sector, or you could visit one of the local villages.

  • Today you will be returned to the Mfuwe Airport for your flight back to Lusaka. Here, you will be met by your guide who will drive you into the Kafue National Park and onto your lodge.

  • Return to Lusaka today by road and fly to the Lower Zambezi National Park. On arrival, you will be met and transferred deep into the park and to your lodge.
