The vegetation in the area is diverse with a multiple of open vlei lines, river systems of the Ruckomechi River, and mixed woodland types from mopane woodland to jesse bushes and riverine forests. Kanga Pan is the only known permanent water source in the area and as such is a magnet for wildlife. It is an explorer's paradise, ideal for walking safaris in untamed areas inaccessible by vehicle.
