Victoria Falls Safari Lodge

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is set high on a plateau just three kilometres from Victoria Falls town. The plateau forms a natural boundary to the unfenced Zambezi National Park, allowing for sweeping views of the surrounding landscape from the lodge, whose thatch and timber building spans seven levels. A waterhole in front of the lodge attracts a variety of game during the dry season, including elephant, buffalo, impala and kudu.

The property has the feel of a large safari lodge, with the spacious en suite rooms featuring hardwoods, thatched roofs and an African-themed decor. All rooms look out across the park, while the Buffalo Bar faces the setting sun, making it a scenic spot for enjoying sundowners.

OUR OPINION:

Whilst located farther away from Victoria Falls than some of the area’s other accommodation options, we think this characterful lodge will particularly appeal to those preferring a safari-style atmosphere to a standard hotel experience.
