Activities, diving & excursions
Tandjung Sari is set right on the beach, where there are a variety of water sports on offer, or you can simply relax on the sun loungers or take a dip in the sea.
The Tandjung Sari Foundation dancers get together near the poolside every Friday and Sunday from 3-4.30pm, and guests are welcome to come along and watch the children practice. For years, the hotel has been nurturing the artistic talents of local children to ensure that the classical Balinese dances are preserved within the community. During performances, the dances are joined by a live gamelan orchestra for all to enjoy.
From May to November, the Friday and Saturday night market gives an extra buzz to Sanur. Experience the atmosphere of a traditional Indonesian market with specialist food vendors along the beach.
Although the hotel does not have its own dive centre, along Sanur’s main road are many PADI dive centres which can organise diving and snorkelling trips to nearby sites.
There is easy access to the east coast of Bali, as well as Nusa Penida, allowing exploration of some amazing sites including Manta Point and Crystal Bay, where you may be lucky enough to spot the Ocean Sunfish (Mola Mola) between July and October.
