Some of the vessels we offer resemble luxurious floating hotels, while others are far simpler. But all the boats we’ve chosen give unrivalled access to sights and communities well off the beaten track.
In between destinations, you can expect comfortable surroundings, dramatic views and communal dining with regionally-inspired menus. Many vessels carry snorkeling gear and sea canoes, some offer a spa or massage room, or perhaps even a swimming pool or fitness room.
Most boats offer some form of local cultural entertainment, such as tai chi, Mandarin or calligraphy lessons on the Chinese cruises.

Experiences onshore
Onshore, each cruise follows a set itinerary and includes stops at points of interest, which could be anything from ancient ruins to remote tribal villages.
Although you can opt for a private tour on some boats, most cruises offer shared on-land experiences in small groups. There are also various optional extras that can be arranged at some destinations. Hot air balloon rides over the ruins of Bagan in Burma or cycling around the Cambodian countryside are just a couple of ideas.

Travelling responsibly
Like many of the cruise companies that operate in poorer regions, we feel strongly that travel should support local communities. We only use responsible operators that have both a low environmental impact and a commitment to improving life in the communities they visit. One of the best examples of this is Pandaw, whose floating hospital travels along the Ayeyarwady in Burma.
