Itinerary idea in detail

With international flights from a choice of airports including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Tel Aviv. Arrive in Tel Aviv, where you’re met by a driver for the journey into Jerusalem. Once settled into your hotel, you can spend the rest of your day at leisure after your flight.

  • This morning, you embark on a private tour of Old Jerusalem with your guide, visiting sites such as the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Western Wall (Kotel). Look out for views of the Dome of the Rock from several points around the city. Experience the enthralling sound and light show at the Tower of David in the evening.

  • Explore Bethlehem, including Manger Square and the Church of the Nativity. On your return to Jerusalem, visit Yad Vashem, Israel’s official Holocaust memorial. This afternoon, your private guide will take you to Mahane Yehuda market, giving you a chance to taste various local delicacies from the food stalls.

  • This morning, your driver-guide will collect you, and together, head to the natural oasis of Ein Gedi Nature Reserve, southeast of Jerusalem. Here, you can walk among the springs and take an optional dip in their refreshing waters. Next, follow the Dead Sea shoreline to Masada, an ancient fortified palace and UNESCO World Heritage Site revered for its mosaics. It was here that Romans laid siege to a group of 960 Jews known as the Zealots. You will also stop at the Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered.

  • Travel from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv for a tour of ancient Jaffa and Tel Aviv’s oldest districts, before stopping for lunch in the bustling Carmel Market, where stalls are piled high with fruit, spices, clothes and electronics.

  • Enjoy a free day in Tel Aviv to relax on the beach, or visit one of the many art museums. You can also stroll the tree-lined Rothschild Boulevard to admire its Bauhaus architecture and pause in one of the many cafés or restaurants.

  • Today, a private driver will collect you for the journey to the airport for your flight home. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
