Day 1 International outbound flight

Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Nairobi.
Day 2 Masai Mara
On arrival in Nairobi you will be met and transferred to the domestic airport, Wilson Aerodrome, for your light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara, an hour away. Here a guide from Karen Blixen Camp will meet you and game drive you back to the camp. Settle in here and spend the rest of the day on safari.
Day 3 Masai Mara
Morning and afternoon safari activities from Karen Blixen. Game drives are the best way to see the big wildlife including the famous big cats of the Masai Mara. Night game drives are also available and are great for spotting nocturnal creatures that are only active at night.
Day 4 Masai Mara
Another day on safari at Karen Blixen Camp. The wildlife in this area is superb, and the guides are very knowledgeable, ensuring you get the most out of your time here. Spend your time relaxing in camp watching the hippos in the river just in front of your tent. The camp has a lot of eco-initiatives which you may wish to learn about during your stay. The take a tour to learn about how they support of the local community and are involved in forestry initiatives and the onsite cookery and IT school.
Day 5 Free the Children
Masai Mara , Free the Children
This morning you will be transferred to a meeting point where a driver from Me to We will collect you and take you to the Bogani Cottages, your base for the next three days. Settle in here and meet the rest of your group over lunch. This afternoon you will visit one or two of the communities that work with Me to We, interacting with the local families and perhaps getting your hands dirty planting a tree or helping paint a school.

Days spent with Me to We are varied and fascinating, giving you a unique insight into the village communities in this area. You will see villages at different stages of working with the charity, spend time with the Masai mamas to collect water or learn traditional beading as well as visiting schools and health clinics. The programme is varied and if anything special is taking place at the time such as a wedding celebration it is likely you will be invited to get involved.

Another day enjoying a variety of visits and excursions with Me to We. Every day is different here and if you have a particular interest or skill you want to share, just let your group leader know so they can try to fit this into your stay.
