What our specialists say...
This is an ideal itinerary for a honeymoon as there is very little travelling around, allowing you to relax and really enjoy Madagascar's wildlife and beautiful beaches. Arriving in Antananarivo you have an afternoon to explore the colourful city before flying in light aircraft the next morning to the private Anjajavy Nature Reserve. Encompassing deciduous forest and miles of deserted coastline Anjajavy offers the best of both worlds with abundant lemurs and untouched beaches. Walks in the forest reveal brown lemurs, Coquerel's sifakas, chameleons, frogs and insects. Coastal paths lead to deserted beaches where you can relax with a picnic and a beach all to yourself. The chalets are very comfortable, food excellent and atmosphere very relaxed. Anjajavy really does offer the very best of Madagascar.
