Dyers House, Christchurch, New Zealand
Dyers House is located in the pretty southern suburb of Cashmere, and is one of the area's oldest homes. It has been lovingly restored to provide luxurious guest accommodation in just three rooms, each of which looks out over the city to the Southern Alps beyond. The guest rooms are all spacious and elegant, and all have underfloor heating throughout.
The house itself is perched high above the city, and the large lounge and dining area enjoy spectacular views throughout the day, and the twinkling city lights at night. A fabulous breakfast is served either here or in the conservatory, featuring many home-made goodies. Cashmere itself is only a ten minute drive from the city centre, but there are a couple of restaurants and cafes close by. Your hosts, Angela and Barry, are extremely welcoming and will be more than happy to help you plan your time in the area, and to advise on how best to explore the city.
