The large pink Libertador is located to the north of Arequipa city centre in front of a quiet park. Built in the 1940's in a colonial style, the hotel has 88 spacious decorated rooms. Rooms vary in size from 30sq m for the standard rooms up to 50sq m for the Suites. Facilities at the hotel include the fine Los Robles Restaurant where the buffet breakfast and a la carte lunches and dinners are served. There is also a 24 hour business centre, gift shop, recently remodelled gym and spa and an outdoor jacuzzi and pool (unheated) with gardens.
