Return to the airport for your flight to Puerto Maldonado. From Puerto Maldonado, you will board a motorised canoe and head into the Amazon to your lodge to begin your adventure. In the evening, you will enjoy your first venture into the Amazon for an evening activity.

This morning, you will board the train for Machu Picchu. The journey traces the edge of the white-water Urubamba River as it twists through the increasingly steep-sided jungle valley. You’ll spot a series of Incan sites from your seat before arriving at Aguas Calientes. After disembarking from the train, you will take a short bus journey up to Machu Picchu for your privately guided tour of the Inca ruins.
