Hamiltons Tented Camp, Kruger National Park, South Africa
Set on their own private concession with in the Kruger National Park Imbali, Hoyo-Hoyo and Hamiltons have the best of both worlds. As with any lodge you have your morning and evening game drives but during the day you can easily go out and explore the Kruger by yourself.
Hamiltons is a permanent tented camp which over looks a frequently used dry river bed where game can be spotted from the comfort of the your private deck. The lodge harks back to a bygone era of safari with teak floors, traditional dark wood furnishings but with the modern luxurious comfort levels of a modern day safari. Each of the six tents is a very cleverly designed permanent structure that gives the feel of being on a tented safari.
Inside you will find large double beds covered by mosquito nets, your private verandah allows you to view the big five without leaving your tent. You will also find a large bathroom with a ball and claw bath tub and outdoor showers.
