Having been in awe of her mothers' adventurous travel tales, Kerry's passion for exploring new places started at a young age with frequent trips to see family in New Zealand. Brought up in the UK, Kerry studied Italian at school and later went on to read Arabic & International Relations at the University of Leeds in the North of England. Living in Morocco for two years begun Kerry's passion for Arab art and architecture.
Kerry joined the Audley team in the UK in 2014 as a North Africa Specialist. She then came over to our Boston US office to bring a wealth of knowledge and passion on her favorite European country, Italy. Kerry has been going to Italy with family and on study trips since a young age and has carried out four months of extensive research trips with Audley. Her favorite regions include Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast, Emilia Romagna and her number one area is Sicily, thanks to its beautiful scenery, laid back nature, fantastic wines and architecture which shares similarities with that in Morocco due to the historic Arab influence on the island.
In her free time she enjoys cocktails with friends and exploring what her new home, the US, has to offer.

I'll never forget when…
You have not seen Rome until you see it from the back of a Vespa. As a pedestrian in Rome, just crossing the road can often pose something of a challenge, so I was understandably nervous about the prospect of spending three hours enveloped within the maelstrom of exhausts and horns on my evening tour of the city by Vespa.
I needn't have worried. My guide expertly wove his way through the lines of cars, chatting merrily to other drivers as we went, and pointing out many sights of interest that I simply hadn't noticed when I had been walking the same streets by myself just hours earlier.
