There are properties to suit most people’s tastes and budget, whether this is a simple guesthouse or something more luxurious. Where possible we try to avoid chains and condominium-style resorts, instead suggesting locally owned properties and ecolodges. Demand for these invariably exceeds supply so our specialists can advise on booking timeframes.

There are numerous beach accommodation options along the Pacific Coast, but we have specifically chosen those we feel best represent the country. In the more isolated areas such as the Osa Peninsula and along the Caribbean coast, places to stay are less developed and of a more simple style, but fantastically located.
