Day 1 Rabat

Casablanca , Rabat

Upon arrival you will be taken on a guided tour of the Hassan II Mosque, before being privately transferred to Rabat which takes about one and a half hours. In Rabat you are staying at Villa Mandarine for the next two nights.

Day 2 Rabat

This morning you have a private guided tour of Imperial Rabat including the Tour Hassan and Mausoleum of Mohammed V as well as the medina and the enchanting Chellah. In the afternoon you might like to go across to Sale which is now linked to Rabat by a bridge but has not changed much since it was a trading port in the 16-19th centuries.

Day 3 Fez

Today your driver will collect you from your accommodation and you will drive to Fez via the Roman city of Voloubilis and then on to Imperial Meknes - which although not as fascinating as Fez is well worth the visit.

You have a full day city tour of Fez where you will learn more about the city by not only visiting some of the historical mosques and the university but also the souq where you will be able to try your hand at bargaining.

Fez

Enjoy a private cookery lesson with a local family in Fez this morning, then embark on a second afternoon of exploring the city.

Day 6 Erg Chebbi

Today is a long drive to the desert but the journey is really fascinating. You travel via Ifrane and then stop for lunch at Midelt before continuing to the Ziz Gorge and on to Erfoud where you will transfer into a 4x4 that will take you into the desert where you will spend the night.

Erg Chebbi , Skoura

Embark on a walking tour with the nomads through the desert dunes this morning, and learn more about Berber life. Travel on to Skoura via the Todra and Dades Gorges.

Day 8 High Atlas Mountains

Skoura , High Atlas Mountains

This morning you will be collected from your hotel and taken up into the High Atlas Mountains via Ait Benhaddou and Telouet. Part of this drive will be done in a 4x4 and is a real treat as the views are breathtaking and it is off the tourist trail.

Embark on a half day hike with your private guide through the beautiful foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, through local Berber villages. In the afternoon, visit a school built and maintained by the Assafou Foundation, for children, women and men of villages who would otherwise not receive any education.

High Atlas Mountains , Essaouira

Today you leave the stunning High Atlas Mountains behind you but the destination is well worth it. Essaouira is a picturesque old Portuguese coastal town that is full of charm. You will stay in Riad Watier which is in the heart of the medina for the next two nights.

Your private guide will take you around Essaouira this morning, then in the afternoon you'll take part in a pastry and sweet making workshop at l'Atelier Madada.

Day 12 Marrakesh

This morning you will have some free time in Essaouira and after lunch your driver will transfer you from Riad Watier to Marrakesh for the final part of your trip in Morocco.

This morning you will be met at your riad by your guide for a full day city tour. You will have the chance to visit the Bahia Palace and Saadien Tombs as well as the famous Koutoubia mosque and Djema El Fna square. In the afternoon you will venture into the medina to see the Moroccan craftsmen still working with traditional methods to produce their goods.

Marrakesh

Your private guide will take you to explore the hidden side of Marrakesh this morning as well as its gardens. In the afternoon you'll visit two women's cooperatives, which focus on training and educating local women who would otherwise not have these opportunities. The visit finishes with a cookery lesson at the Amal Association.
