Enjoy a food-lover’s walking tour of Amsterdam and taste some of the more traditional treats of the city. In the afternoon, you have time to explore on your own, choosing from a wealth of options including the art museums and the Anne Frank House.

Leaving Amsterdam, you’ll take the Intercity Express train to Berlin via Frankfurt, crossing Germany’s north in about six and a half hours. Settle into your hotel then enjoy dinner in one of Germany’s most pulsating cities.

Tour Berlin in vintage fashion as you take to the streets in a 1960s Trabant, a common car during the Cold War days, with a guide navigating your way via radio. In the afternoon, you can explore the city independently, visiting sights such as the Berlin Wall Memorial and the Brandenburg Gate.

Leaving Berlin, you’ll travel west on the Intercity Express train to Cologne, four and a half hours away. After settling into your hotel, which stands a stone’s throw from the cathedral, you’ll have time to explore the city.

This morning, you’ll make the four-hour Thalys train journey to Paris. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure exploring the city’s districts and sights before enjoying dinner in the French capital.

Spend the morning with a private guide exploring the Latin Quarter and buying local produce from the district’s markets, bakeries and specialist stores. Afterwards, you'll visit a wine shop to taste what you bought paired with a selection of French wines.
