Itinerary idea in detail

Private customized tour. Ask us about booking your international flights at our preferred rates.

  • Your family will be met at the airport by your private driver and taken to your centrally located hotel. Spend the afternoon exploring Edinburgh Castle by yourselves (entry tickets are included) and getting acquainted with the city.

  • Today, meet a local food guide for a private food safari tour, which can be tailored to even the pickiest of eaters. You'll visit several local producers and sample different ingredients and dishes while hearing the stories of the people involved. In the evening, you’ll head out on your Ghosts & Ghouls tour to explore the hidden tunnels under the city and learn about the city's haunted past.

  • Pick up your rental car and drive north to Perth to visit the Black Watch Castle and Museum. Enjoy a shared tour of this museum, which details the tales and history of the famous Black Watch Highlanders' regiment. Continue north into the Cairngorms National Park.

  • Spend the day exploring the Rothiemurchus Estate in the heart of the Cairngorms. The estate offers a long list of outdoor activities. In the morning, your family will explore the grounds on a private quad bike trek. In the afternoon, you’ll do your best Robin Hood impression while practising the art of archery with a qualified instructor.

  • Head west to Loch Ness for a chance to see Scotland's most famous inhabitant. Along the way, you'll visit a working farm for a sheepdog experience. Arriving at Loch Ness, board a shared cruise of the legendary loch, which includes entry to the atmospheric Urquhart Castle.

  • Drive toward Glencoe today and take a private hike around the Pap of Glencoe, a small mountain overlooking Loch Leven. This relatively easy hike is suitable for most ages yet offers more spectacular panoramic views than many of the larger, more difficult mountains nearby. Afterwards, your family will continue your journey west toward the coast and spend the night on a private island.

  • Embark on a shared wildlife cruise, departing from a small village on the coast just outside Oban. On the small islands that you pass, look out for whales, porpoises, dolphins, seals, and otters, as well as deer and goats.

  • Leave Eriska this morning and continue your journey to Loch Lomond. In the afternoon, take a speedboat ride around the islands toward the south end of the loch. As you zip across the lake, keep your eyes out for something you wouldn't expect to see in Scotland. One of the islands is home to a group of wild wallabies brought to the area in the 1940s. As you reach the end of the lake, you will be taken to your hotel on the shores of the loch, overlooking the water.

  • Today, your family will have a guided kayak tour on Loch Lomond. The quiet nature of the kayaks means that you won't disturb the local wildlife, hopefully allowing you to see a few things you might have missed on the speedboat. It will also give you a chance to pull up and explore one of the small islands on the loch.

  • Today, the family will say goodbye to Scotland as you drive to Glasgow Airport and drop off your car prior to your onward flight.
