This charming island lies just nine miles south of St Vincent, the northernmost island of the Grenadines, a string of islands stretching approximately 60 miles between the islands of St Vincent and Grenada.
Although the largest of the Grenadine islands, Bequia is only seven square miles and a true hideaway island, hidden from the traditional tourist's radar. Steeped in sailing and pirate history it offers peaceful and secluded white sand beaches and a relaxed, friendly pace of life.
There are many dive sites around Bequia, where it’s possible to see hawksbill turtles, lobsters, moray eels and many kinds of colourful fish.
