Helen has been lucky enough to enjoy several trips to Australia, one of which she has returned from recently which included the delights of Kakadu National Park, Katherine and the Red Centre; the beauty and the wildlife of Kakadu and Katherine was a real contrast against the arid red centre and breathtaking monoliths. She also spent some time in Victoria in and around Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula and driving along the spectacular Great Ocean Road. As a result of these trips Helen has developed a great passion for Australia, its culture, fantastic wildlife and stunning landscapes. Living, working & travelling in Australia for twelve months gave Helen a real insight into the country and the Australian way of life. Helen's interests include walking, cycling, salsa, films, reading, cookery and languages.
With a passion for all things outdoors, it was no surprise that Jenny decided to head to Australia for her gap year after graduating university. During this trip, Jenny enjoyed working and travelling all over Australia and New Zealand, discovering new places, wildlife and stunning scenery. Back in the UK she worked in property sales and construction but nothing quelled her travel bug and she made several trip throughout Europe and Central America. Since starting at Audley she has made further trips to Australia, the country that inspired her wanderlust, to see the special, character accommodation that makes Audley trips so distinctive. On her most recent trip Jenny enjoyed the seeking out Australia's unique wildlife on the walking trails of the pristine national parks of Tasmania and Victoria.
Lucy discovered her passion for travelling during a "Gap Year" before University, where she spent eight months volunteering in Malaysia as an English teacher which enabled her to travel extensively throughout South East Asia. Upon her return she went to University in Southampton where she spent three years studying for her degree in Tourism Management. Wanting to see more of the world Lucy set off on a six month trip to Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. A career in travel beckoned and she spent the following years working for a leading tour operator specialising in around the world itineraries and her first love, Australia. She has since joined Audley and has returned to Australia twice to experience our extensive range of accommodation and excursions. In her spare time Lucy enjoys cooking and swimming.
