Sher Bagh

Situated just a 10-minute drive from the reserve, this delightful camp is surrounded by the natural world and is left to go wild every summer before the camp is set up again after the monsoon. The 12 tents are beautifully furnished with rosewood and teak campaign furniture and each has its own small veranda area. There is plenty of hot water in the fabulous stone shower rooms and hot water bottles to keep you warm in bed when the nights are cold in winter.

The dining tent serves a full English breakfast and Italian dishes are served for lunch, Indian for dinner with many of the dishes made from organic vegetables grown in the camp's own garden. Tea is served in the afternoon and the bar is open all day. There is a small pool, overlooking grassland, which is perfect to cool down in between safaris. A fire is lit every evening and guests gather around this to share stories of sightings and enjoy a drink; a social and welcoming place to stay.
